CHARLEVILLE SCHOOLS ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE - FLYING ARTS ALLIANCE OUR PERFECT NEW WORLD PROJECT
In June 2021 I drove from Ipswich to Charleville to deliver cyanotype workshops for the Flying Arts Alliance, Our Perfect New World project at the Charleville State School, Charleville State High School and the Mulga lands gallery.
As the schools artist-in-residence I had the opportunity to meet and interact with the schools students across Years 3 to Year 12 and delivered 8 workshops in total. I also presented a workshop at the Mulga lands gallery where I was able to meet wider community and learn more about Charleville and the people.
This experience was invaluable for my professional development in further development and delivery of workshops for various age groups.
