IPSWICH: HISTORICAL, CONTEMPORARY, VIBRANT
The city of Ipswich has a rich cultural heritage, distinctive architecture, and natural habitats. But a closer look will reveal that it is a city undergoing significant transformation and developing a new identity.
This series portrays Ipswich as an historical, contemporary and vibrant city of colour, texture, and diversity and allows us to engage with spaces that we may not have previously noticed.
These works invite new ways of seeing Ipswich and pose the question, ‘Can changing our perceptions of where we live lead to a new awareness or collective change in how we see ourselves and how we are viewed as a community?
