The artwork I entered in the Just Nudes Competition and Exhibition has won 2nd Prize in the Photography category! Congratulations to all the other winners and to the Ipswich Art Society for staging this event. The exhibition is on at the Old Courthouse Gallery on the corner of East and Roderick Streets, Ipswich until 13 May and is open daily 10am -3pm. There are artworks in all mediums on display and you can vote for your favourite artwork while you're there for the Peoples Choice Prize.  Below is an image of my artwork - Ken Carson.

I've entered a new photographic artwork, Ken Carson, in the Just Nudes Competition and Exhibition to be held at the Old Courthouse Gallery, Ipswich. I created the work specifically for this exhibition.....Opening event is 28 April from 12.30pm and the exhibition will run until May 13, 2012.

Tomorrow night I will be presenting this month's topic, What is this thing called Art Photogrpahy?, at the ARTalk Philosophy Cafe, Cactus Espresso Bar, the Top of Town in Ipswich.

I am currently exhibiting my new works, Humans being: rituals of gratification at the SWICH Contemporary Art Space in a group exhibition of 5 other art photographers - Dialogue: aesthetic conversations in contemporary art photography.
